It was a tremendous episode that was filled with heart and heartache and it also gave us a nasty cursory glimpse of Sylar and his cruelty. Hiro's story with Charlie was the first time that any of us, as viewers, felt strongly for Hiro as a sympathetic, lovelorn shlub, and not just a overly-chipper manga-fan. I know this show has a reputation for having a raging case of short-term memory, but it's a little hard to believe that Hiro would have totally forgotten about Charlie.
Does he really want to just provide a sooty-grounded shelter for wayward freaks? Or does he have something more sinister in mind? Like raising a vengeful army perhaps?
We're not sure what Samuel's plans are for raising a "pet Sylar," but we know he's got a big chip on his shoulder when it comes to normal folks. Sylar's got a new lease on life, or so it seems.
